VOX
The QD446 VOX function enables users to keep communicating with group members while users' hands are occupied.
Busy Channel Lockout (BCL)
BCL is used to protect the on-going conversation from unwanted interference.
CTCSS/CDCSS
CTCSS/CDCSS encode and decode are useful to avoid unwanted conversation on the same channel.
Wired Clone
To quickly set the parameters on a radio, users can clone the radio data from another radio with the supplied data cable, which can save the time of parameters setting.
Battery Power Indication
HQT QD446 will report current battery power when the corresponding function key is pressed. It also reminds users to replace or charge the battery if the battery power is low.
Monitor
This feature enables user to hear weak signals. User can adjust volume by pressing MONI key when no signals are received.
Scan
The licence-free radio provides two channel scanning modes which are TO(time operation) and CO(carrier operation). The two different modes are used according to different situations.
